Crime Stoppers: Crooks use counterfeit debit card to steal hundreds from ATM

HOUSTON – Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of two men accused of debit card fraud.

According to Crime Stoppers, two men used a counterfeit debit card containing a victim’s account information Feb. 16. Investigators said the men withdrew $1,800 from an ATM at IBC Banks on Briar Forest and Kirby Drive.

Authorities described the suspected thieves as being possibly Romanian men in their late 20s to early 30s. Both men have a medium build and beards, according to a release.
