The shooting happened on Nov. 13, 2015 at a hotel in the 12500 block of the North Freeway.

Houston police were dispatched to the hotel around 12:40 p.m. and found Brown lying dead in the hallway in front of his room.

Two possible suspects were seen entering and leaving Brown's room, and a white Chevrolet Tahoe was seen driving in the hotel parking lot near the time of the shooting.

Further investigation and a Crime Stoppers tip identified Osgood as one of the suspects in this case.

On Wednesday, investigators interviewed Osgood, who was already in the Harris County Jail on an unrelated charge.  Investigators said he admitted to his role in Brown's death and charges were filed.

Another man, only known only as "King," remains at large. Anyone with information on the identity of the wanted suspect is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
