Thief on the loose after Auto Zone break-in

HOUSTON – Police are searching for the thief who broke into an Auto Zone in north Houston.

Police say someone smashed through the front door of the store on Fulton and Booth around midnight Thursday.

The crook knocked down an aisle before taking off with something, invetigators said. It is unclear what the theif took.

The person got away before police arrived.
