85 million more U.S. vehicles may be recalled for Takata airbag inflators

If you plan on taking a summer vacation, chances are you plan on staying in the U.S. A survey from Travelzoo found 80% of Americans who have already booked summer travel will be staying in the United States.

The top factor in the decision on where to go was safety.84 percent chose their destination based on safety. 63 percent based their decision on affordability.

Another 85 million vehicles may have to be recalled due to Takata airbags.

Regulators said Takata will need to prove the vehicles are safe, or they'll have to be recalled to fix the air bag inflators.

Almost 29 million vehicles have already been recalled to fix the issue. It's the largest automotive recall in U.S. history.

At least 11 people have died worldwide due to exploding airbag inflators.
