GARDEN OAKS, Texas – Two men claiming to be magazine salesmen were arrested in Garden Oaks Tuesday.
James Love and Michael Carruthers are charged with criminal trespassing after Love harassed a Garden Oaks resident and refused to leave the property until the homeowner got a gun, according to police.

Love finally left and was arrested. Carruthers was trying to sell magazines at a different Garden Oaks home when he apparently got angry and grabbed the homeowner's cat. She called 911, and he was arrested.
Carruthers' bond was initially set at $500, but the judge upped it to $2,500.
