MIAMI – A wild and dangerous high-speed chase happened Friday afternoon in Miami.
It reportedly began in downtown and went north through residential streets.
There is no word yet on why the man was running from police.
Several cruisers followed the red Mercury Grand Marquis until it crashed into a dumpster.
Officers surrounded the car with weapons drawn but the man put the car in reverse in an attempt to get away, slamming into a cruiser.
Two police dogs dove into the car.
The man is now in police custody.
