Husband shot after altercation in apartment complex parking lot

A man was hospitalized in serious condition Friday morning afteran altercation led to a shooting in northwest Harris County, police said.

Police said a husband, wife and another woman parked near a group of men in an apartment complex parking lot in the 14600 block of Ella just before 2 a.m. The husband and the men got into an altercation, police said. When the husband walked toward an apartment, one of the men followed and shot him, according to police.
              
The man was taken to a hospital, and his condition has not been released. The group of men ran.

Police are investigating and ask anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.
