Diners evacuate after fire at Texas Roadhouse in west Harris County


HOUSTON – Fire officials are investigating what sparked a fire at a Texas Roadhouse restaurant in west Harris County. 

Just before 10 p.m. Thursday night, firefighters responded to calls about smoke billowing the roof of the building on the Katy Freeway and Westgreen. 

Crews quickly arrived and evacuated diners and workers to put the fire out. Firefighters found flames between the ceiling and roof over the kitchen area. 

It's unclear what caused the fire. 

No one was hurt.
