Residents in Kingwood had to be evacuated after a man was randomly shooting outside his apartment, police said.
The 1:30 a.m. shooting prompted a SWAT standoff at the Villas of Kingwood in the 300 block of Forest Center Drive.

Police said the man closed himself inside an apartment with a woman and refused to come out, forcing officers to evcuate several nearby buildings as a precaution.
The gunman surrendered around 4 a.m this morning.
No one was hurt.
