Beer truck spills load on Texas highway

CNN – What a waste!

There was a big party foul on a highway in Austin this morning.

An 18-wheeler transporting beer crashed, and a bunch of kegs and pallets ended up on the street.

Crews neatly stacked up packages of bottles and cans on the side of the road.

The westbound lanes of Highway 2222 were closed so the crews could do their work.

There are no reports of injuries - and there's no word yet on what caused the crash.

The truck was moving beer for a beer distributor - Ben E. Keith Company, based in Forth Worth, Texas.

Reports show the company's trucks have been in 54 crashes - three of them fatal - over the past two years.

Half of the crashes involved injuries.
