Police search for men accused of following women from bank, robbing them

HOUSTON, Texas – Authorities are searching for two men who are wanted for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon in west Harris County.

Investigators said two men followed two women home on Feb. 23 after the women withdrew a large amount of cash from the Woodforest Bank on North Fry Road.

The women told investigators that they saw the men standing near the bank teller line and noticed a white Nissan Maxima parked near their vehicle with a young woman in the driver's seat.

When the women got to their home on Redwing Brook Trail and got out of their car, they said the same white Nissan stopped, and the two men got out, one pointing a silver-colored revolver at them.

They demanded their money and other valuables, police said.

The men robbed the women, then drove off in an unknown direction, investigators said.

The first man is described as black, between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing between 150 and 160 pounds, with his hair in short braids.

The second man is described as black, 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a heavier build, and a light goatee beard.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Harris County Sheriff's Office Robbery Division at 713-274-9210, or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
