Police search for driver after bicyclist hit-and-run in southeast Houston


HOUSTON – Houston police are searching for a driver accused of a hit-and-run accident in southeast Houston.

A bicyclist was riding near the 4300 block of Old Spanish Trail on March 6 when a vehicle hit the cyclist, police said. According to investigators, the driver did not stop to make sure the cyclist was OK and instead drove off.

Police said the cyclist was taken to the hospital. Officers said the cyclist suffered a broken clavicle.

The driver will face hit-and-run charges. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging or arrest of the driver.
