Man found shot to death in car in SE Houston

HOUSTON – Police said they found a man in his late teens to early 20s shot to death inside a car in southeast Houston neighborhood.

Investigators said the victim was riding in the passenger's seat of a car with two friends around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Police said someone in another car started chasing and shooting at them as they traveled on Martin Luther King and continued to follow them to Scenic and Airport.
The trio in the first car tried to hide from the gunman, but he shot at the car multiple times, hitting the victim.

The gunman got away and police don't have a description of that car.

Police didn't find a gun inside the victim's car.

Investigators were talking to his two friends to gather more information. They were not injured.

The victim's name had not been released.
