No-glass recycling contract approved by City of Houston
HOUSTON – A change is coming to recycling bins in Houston.
Houston's City Council approved Wednesday morning a new two-year contract that will continue to provide

While glass will no longer be accepted in the green bin. Residents can still go green and recycle paper, cardboard, plastics, and metal cans.
Council members say the change is meant to lower processing costs.
