Men steal $7,000 in cigarettes from Sugar Land store

HOUSTON – Sugar Land police are looking for the men who stole $7,000 worth of cigarettes from a store earlier this month.

Surveillance video shows the men walking into the store on Dairy Ashford Road just before 4:20 p.m. on March 3.

One of them yelled at the clerk, walked behind the counter and passed two boxes of cigarettes to the other man.

Then, police said, the thieves took two more boxes, left the store and drove away in a green Kia Sportage.

One of the men had gold teeth and was wearing a red Houston cap, white T-shirt and white shorts.  The other had a mustache and was wearing a gray beanie, black T-shirt and dark pants. Both were 25-35 years old.
