Suspect on run after man shot, killed in southeast Houston

HOUSTON – Houston police are searching for Larry Broden, 19, saying he is responsible for a fatal shooting in southeast Houston.

Investigators said Donnell Robinson, 25, was shot and killed Monday around 2:20 p.m. in the 5600 block of Willow Glen Drive and Sharondale Drive.

Police said two groups of people get into an argument at a gas station for an unknown reason. When Robinson left the gas station, Broden and several others followed him to his house on Willow Glen.

According to police, a physical fight erupted at the hosue and Broden went to a car, pulled out a rifle and shot and killed Robinson. He then fled the scene.

Police are now looking for Broden, and ask anyone with information on Broden's whereabouts is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
