Strangers meet newborn after group text mistake

Sending a text to the wrong person happens often. Usually, people ignore it or just type back, "Wrong person."

In the case of brothers Deorick and Dennis Williams, it was a group text about a very special moment in one family's life.

According to a Mashable article, Deorick received a group text over the weekend about Lindsey and Mark Knox's new addition, baby Carson. Sweet, right? But the Williams brothers didn't know the couple.

Deorick wrote back "Wrong number," but the baby's grandmother, Teresa Lashley, didn't realize her mistake and sent a photo of the baby. The Williams brothers decided to make a visit to the family bearing gifts, which made for a sweet gesture by a couple of strangers. It was much appreciated by the family.

"I accidentally (texted) a message about Mark and Lindsey having a baby to a number I had in my phone for someone else which now belongs to Dennis Williams and he and his brother came by to visit us and brought the baby a gift," Lashley wrote on Facebook. "What a blessing these two guys were to our family. They were so sweet and kind to do this."
