HOUSTON – Houston police are investigating a fatal accident that has left a 59-year-old woman dead in southwest Houston.
Officers said the accident happened around 2:220 p.m. in the 11400 block of Legend Manor Drive.

According to police, the victim was a passenger in a golf cart and told the driver to slow down or she would jump off the cart. When the driver said she wasn't going too fast, the victim decided to jump off the cart and hit her head on a curb.
Investigators said the victim was taken to Memorial Herman hospital, where she later died.
