RICHMOND, Texas – According to the Fort Bend County Sherriff's Office, a man was arrested Thursday for promoting child pornography in Richmond.
A Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children investigation lead detectives to a home in the 3700 block of Worthing Lake Drive in the Waterside Estates subdivision.

Investigators said Steve Trudell, 56, offered to share images and video pornography, featuring children, on the Internet. Trudell was also charged with possession of a controlled substance when deputies arrested him.
He is being held at the Fort Bend County Jail under two bails for a total of $40,000.
