BELLAIRE, Texas – New surveillance video of the man wanted in the fatal shooting of a Bellaire pizza shop employee has been released by police, along with the 911 calls from the night of the shooting.

Sunday night Peter Mielke, 19, was shot and killed during a robbery attempt at Reginelli's Pizza at 5303 Bissonnet. Police said the gunman shot Mielke when he could not open the cash register. The man left without taking any cash or items, walking south on Ferris Street.

Bellaire police Thursday released new surveillance video, two days after releasing video from a nearby bank. The new video shows the man walking out of the pizzeria and away from the scene.

Police said the man tried to cover his face and head with a dark-colored jacket he had been wearing before entering the pizzeria.

The alleged shooter, who police note has a distinctive jaw line, is a black male with a thin build and close cut hair.

Dozens of loved ones held candles and remembered the good times they experienced with Meilke. Artwork in his honor took center stage.

“Knowing that y'all care so much about him like I did, makes me so happy,” said Sarah Cartwright.,

Cartwright was Meilke's longtime girlfriend.

“He'll always be watching over us. He always will. Each and everyone of y'all. I know he will,” said Cartwright."

The group met outside the Elite shop where peterMeilke made many memories.

“Peter had such an impact on everyone's life. You can see it in everyone's face. Everyone has their own special story to tell about Peter,” said a friend, Kyle Sells.

Everyone wanted his murdererkiller to face justice.

“He needs to get locked up because he does not deserve to be here walking the streets because it's scary to know he could come back and he could do it again,” said Cartwright.

Police also released 911 calls from the restaurant.
