On Feb. 7, deputies the man broke into a home in the 55000 block of Cairnleigh Drive around 10 p.m. in the Glencairn subdivision. A woman living in the home was holding her 5-month-old son, when she heard the man breaking into the back window.

Deputies said the man assaulted the woman, hitting her in her head and face. The woman's face was cut and bruised in numerous times, investigators said.

The man also hit the child, who authorities said didn't receive any life-threatening injuries.

Deputies described the man as being Hispanic with a skinny build and black spiky hair. He may have cuts on his hands from breaking into the house, investigators said.
