Complications with overnight work on the IH 610 West Loop southbound mainlanes from US 290 to Old Katy have delayed its completion. Crews are expected to wrap up work by 7 a.m.
Three outside lanes remain closed on the 610 West Loop southbound from US 290 to Old Katy. The 610 North Loop westbound connector to the 610 West Loop southbound is also closed.

Drivers are detoured to the IH 10 ramp where they can exit IH 10 westbound to the Wirt/Chimney Rock exit and U-turn to IH 10 eastbound to IH 610. One outside lane on the US 290 eastbound connector to IH 610 West Loop southbound is closed.
Crews are on site completing the work as soon as possible, which is estimated to be completed by 7 a.m. As work progresses from the center to outside lanes, they will reopen lanes to traffic.
