HOUSTON – Deputies are investigating a fatal accident involving a cyclist in northeast Harris County.
The accident happened on Highway 90 at Lord Rd. around 5:40 a.m. Wednesday.

Officials said the driver of the red Mercedes that hit the person did stop and wait for authorities to arrive.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
No charges have been filed.
