HOUSTON – METRO reported that emergency crews responded to a major accident at North Freeway at N. Main around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
A car with two occupants attempted to go around a freeway maintenance crew with slower moving work trucks and lights.
The driver of the black car went around the crew, but apparently didn't see the lead truck as he swerved back into the left lane - in the space between the front truck and second truck - and then slammed into the back end of the lead utility truck.
No injuries were reported.
