Falling oil prices means more job cuts for Halliburton

HOUSTON – Falling oil prices are affecting Halliburton in a big way.

The company confirmed Monday it cut another 4,000 jobs from October to the end of last year and lost $28 million in that same three month period.

Company leaders said there could be more cuts in the future if oil prices continue to drop.

Halliburton has reduced its global workforce by 22,000 employees since the oil crisis began.
