LA PORTE, Texas – Police are searching for the suspect who fatally shot a man at an apartment complex in La Porte early Friday.
La Porte 911 dispatch began receiving calls around 2:50 a.m. about shots fired at the Bayside Oaks apartments in the 3000 block of South Broadway. Callers reported hearing some sort of argument shortly before the shooting.
Police arrived to find a man, who appeared to be in his mid-20s, lying dead in the courtyard.
The victim's identity has not been released.
