Local Chick-Fil-A gives away a year's worth of chicken

New Chick-fil-A opens in southwest Houston


HOUSTON – Thursday morning, dozens of people lined up outside a new Chick-fil-A in southwest Houston in hopes of winning a year's worth of chicken.

The new Chick-fil-A off Beltway 8 and Bellaire held its grand opening Thursday and offered the year's supply of free chicken to the first 100 people.

The store opened at 6 a.m.

People brought out tents and sleeping bags to sleep in the parking lot all night.
