3 in custody, 2 injured in shootings at 2 locations in Humble

HUMBLE, Texas – Three people are in custody after two people were found shot at two locations in Humble.

Police responded to a report of multiple gunshots fired Wednesday around 6:50 p.m. in the 400 block of South Bender Avenue.

While police were headed to an apartment complex they were told there was a possible gunshot victim lying in the roadway.

When officers arrived they found a man who had been shot twice, once in the neck and once in the groin. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Police were notified of another shooting in the 1100 block of First Street where a female had been wounded.

When officers arrived they found a female with a gunshot wound to the neck and three male suspects.

She was taken to the hospital by Life Flight and the three suspects were detained and taken to the Humble Police Station for further investigation.
