HOUSTON – Creating tomorrow's future business leaders today. That was the focus of the Texas Black Expo's first ever CEO Roundtable in downtown Houston.
Young entrepreneurs got to pitch their business plans Tuesday at the George R. Brown Convention Center. They even received cash and other rewards for them.
"We had another young lady who had a clothing line. And the winner of the competition was a young lady named Margo whose company has a spa for youth and kids that does empowerment for little girls actually," Jerome Love, founder of the Texas Black Expo, said.
The cash and prizes were worth over $10,000.
