Photos released in connection with fatal shooting of teen outside Whataburger

HOUSTON – Houston police released surveillance photos of three vehicles wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a teen found inside a car at a north Houston Whataburger in January. The photos also show the accused killer hanging out of one vehicle's passenger-side window.

The only other details police have is that the shooter is described as a young Hispanic man who was among other men in three separate vehicles that were seen leaving the shooting scene.

The victim, Victoria C. Cantu, 15, was pronounced dead at the Airtext Boulevard restaurant.

"I just want justice for Victoria," Greg Cantu, the victim's father, said. "Everybody's heard the story. If anyone knows anything, please come forward."

One vehicle is described as a 2013-2014 silver Chevrolet Malibu with black paint damage to its right rear bumper.  A second vehicle is a 2010-2013 gold Toyota Camry, police said. The third vehicle police are looking for is a 2005-2009 silver Ford Mustang.

Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
