CONROE, Texas – Multiple people were arrested following a narcotics operation, the Conroe Police Department said Tuesday.
Narcotics detectives, with the help of Montgomery County Precinct 2 constables and the Conroe Police Department's SWAT, conducted the multi-jurisdictional narcotics operation Saturday involving people delivering what totaled 2,110 grams of methamphetamine from Laredo via San Antonio, according to Conroe police.
The street value of the drugs is $200,000, police said. Four people were arrested in Conroe for aggravated delivery of a controlled substance (Penalty Group 1 > 200 grams).
Police said one person was arrested for money laundering as a result of the operation.
Detectives seized three vehicles that had been used in the commission of the offense, along with $30,000 in U.S. currency, police said.
All five people arrested, identified by Conroe police as Brianna Aguilar, Johnny Aguilar, Adrian Alonso-Aguirre, Maria Chapa and Julio Martinez, were booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
