Pasadena teen arrested in Subway robbery

PASADENA, Texas – A Pasadena teen faces charges in the armed robbery of a La Porte Subway restaurant.

It was reported from the Fairmont Parkway location on Jan. 3.

Two men posed as customers before robbing the restaurant, police said.

One robber showed a gun and demanded cash from the cashier, while the other propped open the front door with the doormat.

The robbers ripped out the cash register and stole the employee's cell phone before running off.

Timothy Herrera, 18, is charged with aggravated robbery.

Herrera's fingerprints were found at the scene, detectives said.

He is also a suspect in another case investigated by Harris County Precinct 6.

The second robber is still on the loose.
