A helicopter was called to a multi car crash Tuesday morning after a wreck involving a sheriff's deputy on I-10 west near 99 in Katy.
The deputy was taken to Katy Memorial in good condition.
Several lanes of the freeway were closed for several hours along Katy Freeway at Mason Road in west Harris County.
The cause of the crash is unknown.
