A man shot an intruder who attempted to break into his home in northeast Harris County.
It happened around 9 p.m. Friday in the 16000 block of Spinnaker.

According to deputies, the man broke into the home, the homeowner grabbed his gun, confronted the intruder and shot him twice.
The intruder was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
The homeowner was not injured and no charges are expected to be filed.
