Family pleas for justice after son fatally struck in hit-and-run accident

HOUSTON – A 22-year-old man was hit and killed while walking along Aldine Westfield Road early Friday morning and police said the driver of the car that hit him left the scene.

Someone driving by spotted Greg Davies lying in the road and dialed 911.  Paramedics took him by LifeFlight to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he died from his injuries.

"The doctor and the paramedic on the helicopter tried for 20 minutes to revive him," said his mother Regina Davies. "They couldn’t get his heart to start.”

Investigators at the scene found pieces of the person's car including a hose and parts of the wheel well but that’s all the evidence they have. No one saw Davies get hit and there is no description of the car.

"We have no answers," said Greg's father Richard Davies. "We would like to know what happened to our son and get justice."

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477). Tips can also be submitted online.
