Rosenberg Assistant Police Chief Tracie Dunn's official oppression case dropped

ROSENBERG, Texas – Rosenberg Assistant Police Chief Tracie Dunn is no longer facing charges of official oppression.

Dunn's case was dropped on May 10 because the complaintant refused to cooperate with the investigation.

Dunn was on paid administrative leave after the Fort Bend County Grand Jury indictment in November of last year.

A source close to the investigation said Dunn pulled a handcuffed female prisoner out of a patrol car and roughed her up.

Documents obtained by KPRC 2 state Dunn kicked Jessica Lopez on May 3.

The incident allegedly happened behind police headquarters and was caught on video by multiple cameras.

Neither the Rosenberg Police Department nor the Fort Bend County District Attorney's Office are commenting, only saying the investigation is open and ongoing.
