Meth, heroin found at scene of motorcycle accident in Galveston County

GALVESTON COUNTY, Texas – The Galveston County Sheriff's Office is looking for the driver of a motorcycle after finding drugs at an accident scene.

Authorities said the accident happened around 5 p.m. Friday in the 2500 block of FM 517 West.

Deputies said they found a damaged Honda motorcycle lying in a ditch, but they could not find the driver or any passengers.

Investigators said they found a black case and wallet near the crash. The bag had 100 grams of methamphetamine, 60 to 100 grams of heroin and "a quantity of mushrooms." The Galveston County Sheriff's Office said a wallet with $710 and an ID were also found.
