(WMC) – A Tennessee high school teacher is facing charges of operating an illegal adult strip club and promoting prostitution.
Investigators said Memphis Police Department vice officers began investigating Walt's Place, a club owned by teacher Walter McCrimmon, in July.
McCrimmon has been suspended without pay from his job at Raleigh-Egypt High School.
During the investigation, undercover officers visited the club several times. Officers made approximately eight prostitution deals inside the club. Some of the prostitution deals came directly from McCrimmon, who set prices for customers to have sex with the employees.
Officers said they also made several purchases of alcohol, even though the club did not have a liquor license.
