HOUSTON, Texas – A woman was killed after she was hit by a vehicle in northwest Houston.
Police say the 50-year-old woman was walking across Sherwood Lane near Vollmer Road around 9 p.m. Friday when a speeding SUV ran over her.
According to police, the SUV did not stop.
The woman died at the scene.
