New poll reveals who Texans would vote for in 2016 presidential race


AUSTIN, Texas – A new poll is giving new insight into the race for the White House.

The University of Texas/Texas Tribune poll reveals who Texas voters want to win the Democratic nomination.

At the top, and far ahead of the pack, is former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, with 61 percent. Coming in second is Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders with 30 percent. And former Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley has one percent.
