HOUSTON – One man is in custody after a bank robbery in Sugar Land and a police chase that ended at Bellaire Boulevard and Stella Link Road on Monday.
The Sugar Land Police Department said at about 4:45 p.m., a man went into a Chase Bank at 14121 Southwest Freeway and demanded money. Nobody was injured during the holdup.

Sugar Land police saw the suspect's vehicle on Highway 59 inbound and gave chase.
The chase ended at about 5:10 p.m. at Bellaire And Stella Link.
The robber has been identified as Charles L. Wood, 49.
