HOUSTON – A driver was arrested after he allegedly hit two people with his vehicle in southwest Houston Saturday morning.
According to police,. the incident happened around 1:45 a.m. on Fairview Street at Converse Street.

One of the victims, a 57-year-old male,was taken to the hospital in serious condition and the other man was treated at the scene.
The driver was later taken into custody. Authorities said he faces charges of failure to stop and render aid and driving while intoxicated.
