KATY – A woman is dead and two men are in the hospital after a car crash in Katy Friday morning.
It happened around 2 a.m. at Saums and Greenhouse.

Police said a pickup truck speeding westbound down Saums T-boned and slammed into the passenger side of a Nissan Altima driving northbound on Greenhouse.
The woman inside the Altima died from the crash and the two men inside the pickup truck were taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Police said the woman may have run through a red light and the driver of the pickup truck was intoxicated during the time of the crash.
The pickup driver is facing driving while intoxicated (DWI) charges.
An investigation is underway to determine if there will be any additional charges.
