HOUSTON – A driver hit a 54-year-old woman as she was walking across an intersection in Cypress Wednesday night.
Around 9, police said the woman tried to cross Queenston Boulevard and Forest Heights Drive using the crosswalk.

However, according to reports, she walked against the red light and in front of oncoming traffic.
She was hit and flown to the hospital in serious condition.
The driver of the car stopped and waited for police to arrive; investigators said he was not intoxicated and is not expected to face charges.
