1 dead, 1 critically injured in northwest Houston crash


HOUSTON – Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that killed one man and critically injured another in northwest Houston Monday morning.

Police said two men were traveling in a car on Antoine, just south of W. 34th when struck a big hump in the road, causing him to lose control and crash into a fence.  The car flipped over.

The driver died at the scene and the passenger was sent to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition.

Houston police said both victims were not wearing seat belts.

The identity of the deceased male victim is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
