HOUSTON – A Houston woman is facing charges after she allegedly abandoned her child.
Arica Noel Bibbs, 29, has been charged with abandoning a child with intent to return.

Around 4 a.m. Saturday, a young boy was found wandering on the 2900 block of Fulton Street, according to authorities. Officials say they were able to find where the child lived and that there was a second child in the apartment.
Police could not tell how the child got out of the apartment and did not know where the mother was, according to the Harris County Precinct 6 Constable's Office.
Bibbs is being held in the Harris County Jail on $5,000 bond.
