HOUSTON – Authorities are searching for two suspects who robbed a bank in north Houston Tuesday morning.
Investigators said at around 11 a.m. two men, one armed with a shotgun, entered the BBVA Compass Bank at 1217 W. 43rd & Ella.
The men robbed the bank of an undisclosed amount of cash, then fled in a stolen black Dodge extended-cab pickup, investigators said. The truck was dumped about a block away from the bank.
Both robbers were said to be about 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall, and weighed about 200 pounds. The robber armed with the gun wore a blue hoodie and his accomplice wore a gray hoodie, investigators said.
