Brazoria County deputy fired after off-duty argument at party

BRAZORIA COUNTY, Texas – A former Brazoria County Sheriff's Office deputy has been charged with oppression and deadly conduct.

According to investigators, Henry Wallace was at an after-hours party on Thursday in a rural part of Brazoria County while off duty.

During an argument, investigators say Wallace, 22, displayed his badge and gun in a threatening manner.

Wallace was terminated. Another female officer who was at the scene has also been terminated, but has not been charged.
