HARRIS COUNTY – A man is in the hospital after flipping his car in northwest Harris County.
According to Harris County Sheriff's deputies, the driver was heading south on Highway 99 when he slammed into barrels at the end of a concrete wall just after 2 a.m. Friday.

Rescuers say they had to pry the 34-year-old man out of the vehicle.
Life Flight airlifted the man to Memorial Hermann Hospital in serious, but stable condition.
Deputies say they don't know why the man crashed. They are looking into whether he fell asleep or if alcohol was a factor.
