HUMBLE, Texas – A Harris County woman was charged Wednesday with endangering a child, police said.
Investigators said Maria Godinez-Gonzalez was not aware that her child was missing Monday.

A witness spotted a 2-year-old girl walking alone and tried to find her mother. A Harris County Deputy arrived at Atascocita Village Mobile Home Park and asked children in the playground area where the little girl lived.
Investigators said the deputy found the mother home and alert. CPS was contacted.
Gonzalez has a bond set at $1,500.
